Orpheus

"Orpheus" retells, through verse, the legendary poet's loss of Eurydice and his consequent descent into hell to see her again. Descending hell, dining with the denizens of the underworld, and heroically ascending hell, the mythical poet finally arrives unto his tragic end.

Recommendation: I recommend the paperback version. It's (sorta) small and slim so you can take it with you places.
